The Sprouts Goal
Sprouts Farmers Market began back in 2002 with the goal of making natural foods accessible to everyone. They created a different shopping experience centered around healthy but affordable food and great customer service.

Sprouts’ vision of making natural food accessible to everyone extends beyond their stores and out into their communities. Sprouts Healthy Community Foundation created local teaching farms for kids to learn hands-on how to grow and prepare fresh, healthy food. The idea behind the foundation was that children who learn healthier eating from an early age are more likely to grow up eating healthier food as adults.
During the pandemic, Sprouts transitioned the teaching farms into production farms, distributing free produce and seedlings to local communities.
