March is National Nutrition Month®, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ annual salute to healthy eating, but that doesn’t mean sacrificing taste or enjoyment. “Nutritious” is no longer synonymous with “bland,” and we’re out to prove this every day at Zing. We’re proud to provide healthy snacks that not only fit today’s active lifestyle, but also taste great.

Here at Zing Bars, we share the importance of nutrition with you every chance we get – and during National Nutrition Month®, we are particularly excited to stand with our entire profession to highlight the many benefits of wholesome eating.
Zing Bars: Putting Our Best Bar Forward
This is our annual opportunity to celebrate National Nutrition Month® and National Registered Dietitian Day (March 8th). We cheer our fellow registered dietitian nutritionists’ contributions to improving the health of people worldwide. As professional nutritionists ourselves, we started our company eight years ago, initially selling the bars out of our nutrition counseling offices to clients in need of a healthy, tasty snack.
With a nut butter base, Zing Bars are high protein, high fiber, low-glycemic, and free of wheat, gluten, soy and additives of any kind. With their excellent nutritional profile, our bars provide long-lasting energy, are a perfect snack between meals, and, most importantly, they taste amaZing!
Healthy Snacking, One Bite at a Time
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics encourages us to “Put Your Best Fork Forward” this month by making small, manageable changes. Here at Zing, we encourage the same. Eating well can be fun, easy and enjoyable. A few ideas to get you started:
- Packing a healthy snack (like Zing Bars!) to keep your energy levels high all day long
- Swapping out a sugary snack (think muffin, pastry, donut, cookie, scone, banana bread) for one with low-glycemic carbs, protein and healthy fat, such as an apple with a couple tablespoons of peanut butter, or veggies and your favorite flavor of hummus
