A Letter from our CEO: COVID-19 Update

March 19th, 2020

To our Valued Customers:

With the uncertainty that the COVID-19 epidemic has unleashed, we want to assure all of you that safety and social responsibility remain our top priority.

At Zing Bars, the safety of both our employees and of the products we create is paramount. In making Zing Bars, we follow Current Good Manufacturing Practices and produce in a certified SQF Food Safety facility. This means that all the processes and procedures for excellent hygiene, prevention of foodborne pathogens, prevention of allergens and cross-contamination, third-party-lab-verification testing, and adherence to the strictest quality standards are our baseline. The CDC’s and WHO’s current recommendations for preventing the spread of COVID-19 are practiced every day in our facility, including:

• Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds; use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol in between hand washings.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
• Stay home if sick.
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

Last week we took the additional step of social distancing, and have asked all of our office-based employees to work from home.

Please feel free to reach out via email or by phone if you have any questions, would like to place an order, or simply want to say hello. We are here for you. And yes, we are continuing to ship orders and are committed to providing nutritious options for you and your loved ones, which is more critical now than ever.

We will continue to post on our social media accounts, provide updates, and send out emails. So, please keep safe and healthy as we weather this unprecedented event together. With personal responsibility, common sense, nutritious foods and community support, we will persevere.

Be well,

David Ingalls, MS, RD
